asian woven basket - small

hand woven from recycled plastic strapping in south east asia, 
these vibrant colourful baskets are strong and useful. 

the baskets are made using traditional methods of weaving that 
have been passed down from one generation to the next. no two 
baskets are the same - each is different to the next in finish 
and colour. the baskets have minimal impact on the environment 
and give new life to otherwise useless materials. it takes a day 
for each weaver to make a basket, and weavers are paid fairly 
for their beautiful work.
